OstroVit Bromelain + Papain – 100 caps

OstroVit Bromelain + Papain is a vegetarian and vegan-friendly capsule supplement combining two plant-derived proteolytic enzymes: bromelain, sourced from pineapple, and papain, extracted from papaya. Each capsule delivers 500 mg of bromelain alongside 200 mg of papain, with the two enzymes selected together for their complementary profiles. The capsules are easy to swallow and free from ingredients of animal origin, making them well suited to plant-based diets.

Bromelain is a mixture of proteolytic enzymes found naturally in pineapple and is widely recognised for its role in protein digestion across a broad pH range. Papain is a protein-digesting enzyme derived from papaya that breaks down complex protein compounds into peptides and amino acids. Both enzymes are also used in the food industry as natural meat tenderisers, reflecting their well-established activity on protein structures.

The pack contains 100 capsules, each representing a single serving, giving a generous long-term supply. OstroVit is a European sports nutrition brand with an established reputation for straightforward, clearly labelled formulations — this product sits comfortably within a considered approach to digestive enzyme supplementation.
