Applied Nutrition Critical Mass – Professional, Chocolate – 2400 grams

Critical Mass Professional is a chocolate-flavoured mass gainer powder from a well-regarded UK sports nutrition brand, presented here in a substantial 2,400 g tub. The formula combines a high-carbohydrate and protein matrix — delivering 50 g of carbohydrate and 28 g of protein per 100 g — alongside L-leucine and chromium. With 377 kcal per 100 g, it’s designed to contribute meaningfully to the daily calorie totals that serious weight-training athletes aim to hit.

Each serving is measured at 450 g (7.5 scoops), providing 1,698 kcal, 126 g of protein, 224 g of carbohydrate, and 15 g of L-leucine, with sugars kept relatively low at 8.70 g per serving. Chromium is also included as part of the micronutrient profile. The chocolate flavour is designed to make high-volume shakes more palatable — a genuine consideration when working with servings of this size.

This tub suits those in dedicated bulking phases who need a reliable, calorie-dense powder they can mix into their post-training or between-meal routine. The brand places emphasis on ingredient scrutiny and ongoing product development, making Critical Mass Professional a longstanding fixture in the UK mass-gainer category.
