Swanson Strontium Citrate delivers 340 mg of strontium per capsule in an easy-to-swallow format, with 60 capsules per pack. Strontium is a naturally occurring element found in the earth’s crust and is present in bones and teeth, where it sits alongside minerals such as calcium due to its similar molecular structure.
Each capsule provides strontium in its citrate form, which is the dietary supplement version of this mineral. Because strontium and calcium share closely related molecular properties, they interact during absorption — so those who also take a calcium supplement may wish to space the two apart.
Swanson is a well-established American supplement brand known for straightforward, single-ingredient formulations manufactured to consistent quality standards. This product is well suited to those looking to add strontium to an existing mineral supplement routine, including older adults and anyone with a particular interest in trace mineral nutrition.
