NOW Foods Arginine & Citrulline – 120 vcaps

Arginine & Citrulline from this 120-capsule pack delivers two amino acids — L-Arginine and L-Citrulline — in vegetarian capsule form, with each capsule providing 500 mg of free-form L-Arginine and 250 mg of free-form L-Citrulline. The formulation follows a 1:1 ratio approach and uses free-form amino acids, which are widely favoured in sports nutrition for their straightforward composition.

Both L-Arginine and L-Citrulline are naturally occurring amino acids that play recognised roles in protein metabolism and the maintenance of muscle tissue. They are well-established intermediates in the urea cycle, contributing to the processing of ammonia and the production of urea, while arginine that enters general circulation is available for protein synthesis and other metabolic functions.

The vegetarian capsule format makes this a suitable choice for those following plant-based or meat-free diets. With 120 capsules per pack, it’s a well-stocked option for regular gym-goers and strength athletes who prefer their amino acid supplementation in an unflavoured, capsule-based format rather than powders or pre-mixed drinks.
