Iron SR is a prolonged-release capsule supplement combining iron with folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. Each capsule delivers 30 mg of iron, 400 µg of folic acid, 40 mg of vitamin C, 1.40 mg of vitamin B6, and 2.50 µg of vitamin B12. The prolonged-release format is designed to release nutrients gradually, and the 120-capsule pack provides a generous supply for consistent daily use.
This combination of nutrients is particularly well suited to pregnant women and those planning a pregnancy, for whom iron and folic acid are widely recognised as key dietary considerations. Vitamin C is included alongside the iron, and the B vitamins — B6, B12, and folic acid — round out the formulation.
The capsule format makes it simple to take as part of a morning routine alongside food or a drink. Each pack contains 120 capsules, with one capsule forming the recommended daily serving.
