OstroVit MCT Oil is a liquid medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) supplement derived primarily from coconut oil, presented in a 500 ml BPA-free plastic bottle. Each 12 g serving provides caprylic acid and capric acid — two medium-chain fatty acids that are absorbed differently from longer-chain fats, passing directly to the liver via the portal vein rather than through the lymphatic system. The oil is suitable for both vegetarians and vegans, containing no ingredients of animal origin.
With a neutral taste and virtually no odour, this oil blends unobtrusively into drinks, shakes, and food. It’s particularly well regarded among those following a ketogenic approach, where it’s commonly stirred into coffee or added to smoothies. Because fat-soluble vitamins require dietary fat for absorption, it also works well alongside vitamin supplements.
The 500 ml bottle provides 39 servings, making it a generous supply for athletes, active individuals, or anyone looking to incorporate a clean, unflavoured fat source into their everyday eating.
