Life Extension Vitamin B12 Methylcobalamin, 500mcg – 100 vegetarian lozenges

Methylcobalamin is the active, coenzyme form of vitamin B12, and each lozenge in this pack delivers 500mcg of it in a format designed to dissolve in the mouth rather than be swallowed whole. The lozenge format allows the nutrient to be absorbed directly through the oral mucosa, making it a straightforward alternative to standard tablets or capsules. This pack contains 100 vegetarian lozenges, with one lozenge constituting the recommended daily serving.

B12 is found naturally in animal-based foods such as meat, dairy, and eggs, meaning those following a vegetarian or vegan diet may find it harder to obtain adequate amounts through diet alone. This supplement is certified suitable for vegetarians and is free from animal-derived ingredients, making it a considered choice for plant-based eaters looking to top up their B12 intake.

The methylcobalamin form works alongside vitamin B6 and folate in the body’s methylation processes, including the metabolism of the amino acid methionine. Compact and easy to take anywhere, this product suits anyone from older adults to those eating a predominantly plant-based diet who want a reliable, well-formulated B12 supplement.
