Zinc Picolinate from this 60-vcap bottle delivers 50 mg of zinc per vegetarian capsule, using the picolinate form — a chelated version of the mineral in which zinc is bound to picolinic acid. Zinc is a trace mineral naturally present in a range of foods and is a recognised co-factor in numerous enzymatic processes involved in protein and carbohydrate metabolism, as well as RNA and DNA synthesis.
Each bottle contains 60 vegetarian capsules, making it a straightforward mineral supplement suitable for those following a plant-based diet. The unflavoured capsule format means it can be taken alongside an existing supplement routine without any preparation required.
Zinc Picolinate is commonly used by those looking to top up their dietary zinc intake — from athletes with higher nutritional demands through to individuals who monitor their micronutrient intake closely. The picolinate form is widely regarded as a well-absorbed delivery format for this essential mineral.
