BetterYou Magnesium Flakes – 5000 grams

BetterYou Magnesium Flakes offer a transdermal approach to magnesium supplementation, dissolving in warm water to create a mineral-rich bath or footbath. The sole active ingredient is Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate, sourced exclusively from the Zechstein seabed in Northern Holland — a deposit formed over 250 million years, mined from around a mile underground and naturally free from heavy metals and man-made pollutants. This 5,000 g pack is supplied by BetterYou, a brand well regarded for its specialist magnesium range.

When dissolved in a bath, the flakes create a concentrated magnesium chloride solution at a 47% MgCl₂ concentration. Unlike oral supplements, the transdermal route bypasses the digestive system entirely, delivering the mineral directly through the skin. The formula contains 100% natural ingredients and is suitable for vegans, vegetarians, and those following coeliac or other specialist diets, as well as during pregnancy and nursing.

For a footbath, around 150 g dissolved in approximately 5 litres of warm water is a typical starting point; a full bath generally calls for around 250 g. The flakes dissolve readily, leaving skin feeling smooth and soft after use.
